Mohan Polyfab to expand its Synthetic Organic Chemicals Unit at Ankleshwar

Mohan Polyfab to expand its Synthetic Organic Chemicals Unit at Ankleshwar in Gujarat. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 36.8 million. Two stage scrubbing system (water scrubber and casting scrubber) will be installed to control the emission of HCl < 20 mg/Nm³ and Cl₂ < 9mg/Nm³. Presently, the unit has installed two numbers of boilers each having 0.6 TPH capacity. After proposed expansion both the boilers will remain in operation to meet the industrial steam requirement and there will not be need of any new boiler. The expansion details of the new unit are as follows.

J.H. Kharagwala to expand its dye manufacturing unit at Kalamsar in Khambat in Anand in Gujarat. The production capacity of the plant will be expanded from the existing capacity of its Dye Intermediates 6,000 MTA to 56,000 MTPA and add a new facility for producing 63,000 MTPA. The total land area available is 5169.3 ha and the new unit may produce the following products.
