Thermax Ltd is planning to expanding its chemical manufacturing unit in Jhagadia in Bharuch district of Gujarat. The project involves setting up of a construction chemical unit of different grades and chemicals such as Polynaphthalene Sulfonate (PNS), Polymelamine Sulfonate (PMS) and Polycarboxilate Ether (PCE). The project cost is estimated at Rs. 140 million. The total capacity which is being expanded is 1500 mtpm.
Trion Chemicals Pvt Ltd is planning to set up a chemical unit in Neja village in Khambhat district in Gujarat. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce Trichloro Isocyanurate 1000 MTPM and Sodium Dichloro Isocyanurate 400 MTPM. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 180 million.
Yogleela Cropscience Pvt. Ltd is planning to set up a pesticide unit in Jhagadia in Bharuch district of Gujarat. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce Metribuzin, Pendimethalin, Pretilachlor, TrichlopyrButotyl, Clodinafop, Propargite and Mancozeb. The total capacity of the plant will be 10000 tpa. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 326.5 million.
BioWish Technologies, a US based company, is planning to set up manufacturing facility in the state of Gujarat and Maharashtra. The company has set up its office at Pune and is looking for a joint venture partner to set up the facilities. It will produce a composite biocatalyst consisting of enzymes, microorganisms, and non- enzymatic co-factors for wastewater treatment in the two states. The plants are likely to be completed by 2015.
