K.V. Arochem to expand its organic perfume unit at Vapi in Valsad district of Gujarat with an investment of Rs. 5.3 million. Presently, the company is manufacturing 48 products with production capacity of 172 MTPM and 400 MTPM of Aluminum Chloride solution as byproduct. After the proposed expansion, it is proposed to manufacture 98 products with production capacity of 200 MTPM and 11 byproducts.

The project involves setting up of manufacturing unit to produce 1.17MTPM of salicylate acid, 7.0 MTPM of Di tertiary Butyl Hydro Quinone and 1.25 MTPM of Di methyl Ether Hydro Quinone.

Shiva Pigments to expand its pigment unit at Ankleshwar in Bharuch district of Gujarat with an investment of Rs. 7.5 million. The project involves expanding the manufacturing capacity of pigment Alpha Blue from 10 MTPM to 50MTPM and to start manufacturing of Ball milling of chemicals / pigments (60 MTPM) and Copper Phthalocyanine Blue (CPC) Crude crude (70 MTPM).
