Acetochem Pvt Ltd plans expansion of pesticides unit at Pandsera in Surat district of Gujarat with an investment of Rs. 38.7 million. the project will come up in the existing unit land of 2484 sq.meters. The unit will now manufacture 4 Chloro Phthalic Acid of 15 mtpm, Tetra Chloro Phthalic Anhydride (15 mtpm) and 3,5 Dichloro Aniline (40 mtpm) among other chemicals.

Raj Chemicals plans to expand chemical unit at Alipore in Navsari district of Gujarat with an investment of Rs. 110 million. The project involves expanding existing chemical unit to manufacture Phenylene Diamines, Formaldehye 37% and Formaldehyde based resin. The total production capacity of the unit will be around 310 mt and it may be noted an additional 500 kl of formaldehyde will be manufactured for captive consumption to make formaldehyde based resins.

The project involves expanding manufacturing facilities for CPC Blue, Vinyl suplhane, H-acid, Pigment Alpha blue etc., It also plans to manufacture acid dyes, reactive dyes and direct dyes. The proposed expansion will be carried out at the company’s existing unit.
