Savla Chemcials plans expansion of synthetic chemicals unit at Panoli in Bharuch district in Gujarat with an investment of Rs. 150 million. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce Isobutylene ( 700 mtpm) and High purity Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether and by-products methanol (432 mtpm) and Dimer of Product (Di-methyl Ether) ( 40 mtpm). The unit will use manufacturing process of cracking, distillation and condenstation.

The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce Poly Amide Resin, Meta Bromo Anisole, 3,3- Dimethyl Benzidine, Ortho and Para Toluene Sulphonamide,,Ortho and Para Toluene Sulphonyl Chloride Nitro to Amono conversion by Catalytic Hydrogenation etc., and will produce Spent Sulphuric acid (60-70%), 28-30% Hydrochloric Acid, 28-30% Hydrochloric Acid and Sodium Sulphite Solution (25%) as by-products.

Megachem Industries to set up chemical unit at Panoli in Bharuch district in Gujarat with an investment of Rs. 60 million. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce Cuprous Chloride (600 tpa), Cupric Chloride (1000 tpa), Copper Sulphate (3000 tpa), Monochloro Phtalic Acid (200 tpa) Ammonium Molybalate (100 tpa). The total production capacity of the chemical unit will be 13,300 tpa.

The project involves expanding manufacturing facilities for 6-Acetyl OAPSA, 6-NAPSA, OAPSA, ONCBSA, 2-NADPSA among other chemicals. The total manufacturing capacity of the unit will be 180 mtpm.
