Kandla Energy & Chemicals Ltd is planning to expand its unit in Devaliya in Anjar Taluk in Kutch district of Gujarat with an investment of Rs. 600 million. The project involves expanding its refining capacity from 55000 klpa to 108000 klpa. The plant will refine mineral turpentine oil, ink oil, white oil, aluminium oil, spray oil besides de-odorized kerosene.
KPR Fertilizers Ltd is planning to set up a acid plants at Bikkavolu village in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh with an investment of Rs. 200 million. Land for the project has been acquired. The new plant will produce Di Methyl Sulphase, Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulphonic Acid, Alum (Ferric/Non-Ferric) and Chlorosulphonic Acid.
Kunj Laminates is planning to set up a manufacturing unit in Hadamtala in Kotala Sangani Taluka in Rajkot district of Gujarat. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce phenol formaldehyde (87.5 mtpm) and phenol formaldehyde resins (37.5 mtpm) with an investment of Rs. 50 million.
