South Asian Petrochem to expand its PET resin plant at Mouza , Basudevpur in East Midnapur district in West Bengal. The project involves expansion of the existing Polyethylene Terepthalate (PET) Resin Plant from 400 TPD to 600 TPD. The capacity will be increased by optimizing operating parameters and by de-bottlenecking at a cost of Rs. 300 million. Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) will be sourced from Haldia and Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) will be imported.
