Vinati Organics, a world leading manufacturer of Isobutyl Benzene and largest manufacturer of ATBS is planning to invest Rs. 1200 million. The project involves expanding capacity from the present 10000 MT to 18000 MT to complete the backward integration programme to supply isobutyl benzene for its ATBS plant. The company is also planning to launch two new products viz., Diacetone Acrylamide (DAAM) and Tertiary Octyl Acrylamide (TOA) which are used as polymers in manufacturing adhesives, coatings, resins, cosmetics etc., The company also plans to set up a 6 MW coal based captive power generation unit.

Satyam Petrochemicals to expand it chemical unit in Wanachiwadi

Satyam Petrochemicals Ltd is planning to expand its chemical unit in Wanachiwadi in Masur Post in Karad Tehsil in Satara district of Maharashtra. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce 100KLPD of ethyl Acetate and 20 TPD of Diethyl Phtalate. Around 2 ha of land had been acquired for the project. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 40 million.

Spectrum Ethers plans pesticide unit in Rasegaon

Spectrum Ethers plans to invest Rs.50 million to manufacture pesticides at Rasegaon village in Dindori Taluk in Nashik district of Maharashtra. The project involves expanding pesticides unit from 1700 MTPA to 3525 MTPA.  Following chemicals capacity will be enhanced: - Phorate, Ethion, Turbufos, Temephos, Profenfos, Propiconazole, Thiomethoxam, Actetamiprid Fipronil, Pretilachlor(weedicide), Glyphosate (weedicide), Atrazine (weedicide)
