Karnavati Rasayan to expand its production capacity at Changodar in Sanand in Gujarat with an investment of Rs. 279.5 million. The project involves expanding manufacturing capacity of Mono Chloro Acetic Acid from 300 MTPM to 3000 MTPM and also to manufacture sodium mono chloro Acetate from Mono Chloro Acetic Acid with the production capacity of 3600 MTPM. Besides 6398 MTPM of Hydrochloric Acid (30 %) and 768 MTPM will be recovered as by-products. The new unit will manufacture the following products
