Sahjanand Industries to set up synthetic adhesive unit at Palsana in Surat district of Gujarat with an investment of Rs. 2.0 million. The project involves expanding synthetic adhesive manufacturing unit from 75 MTPM to 125 MTPM. The main products which will be manufactured are Polysol from 50 MTPM to 100 MTPM and binder from 15 MTPM to 25 MTPM.

Bayer Crop Science to set up synthetic organic chemical unit at Ankleshwar in Bharuch district in Gujarat with an investment of Rs. 1200 million. The project involves setting up of manufacturing unit to produce 12000 TPA of Desmodur L 75, 12000 TPA of Desmodur N 75 and 12000 TPA of Desmodur N 3390. It is also proposed to set up gas based captive cogeneration power plant of 1.4 MW capacity.

Besides, 2259.52 MTPA of byproducts will be manufactured. These include: 20% of HCl (2062.41 MTPA), 30% of HCl (107 MTPA), NaBr solution (72.94 MTPA), Recovered Raney Nickel catalyst (11.67 MTPA), recovered TBAB catalyst (3.82 MTPA) and recovered platinum carbon catalyst (1.68 MTPA).
