Andhra Medi Pharma plans synthetic organic chemicals unit at Veeravalli

Andhra Medi Pharma India Pvt Ltd is planning to set up a synthetic organic chemicals unit in village Veeravalli in Bapulapadu Mandal in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. The new plant will have manufacturing facilities to produce Glucosamine Hydrochloride, Chondroitin Sulphate Sodium, Losartan Potassium, Pantoprazole Sodium, Topiramate, Rabeprazole Sodium, Valsartan, Levetiracetam etc., It will consume raw materials like Bovine trachea, Benzimidazole, 4-Chlorobutanyl chloride,, Dichloromethane, Pentanoyl Chloride, Tributyl amine , Sodium azide, Acetone, Ethyl acetate, , Methanol, Acetic acid, Toluene and hydrochloric acid.

Neo Poly Industries plans Unsaturated Polyester Resin unit in Chegunta

Neo Poly Industries is planning to invest Rs. 7.8 million to manufacture Unsaturated Polyester Resins and Polyvinyl Acetate Emulsion in Chinna Shivnoor in Chegunta Mandal in Medak district of Andhra Pradesh. The project involves setting up of a chemical unit with a capacity of 1800 TPA of Unsaturated Polyester Resin & 240 TPA of Polyvinyl Acetate Emulsion. Land required for the project is 0.6 acres which is available.

Nagarjuna Agrichem to expand its production capacity

Nagarjuna Agrichem is planning to invest Rs. 2500 million to set up a greenfield chemical unit at special economic zone in Visakhapatnam. This new facility will manufacture active ingredients and will become operational by 2011. The company is also implementing a debottlenecking programme at Srikakulam and Ethakota facilities at a cost of Rs.400 million. The company is planning to launch 5 new brands in pesticides this year for wheat, paddy and tea crops and to expand its dealer network in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
